Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Trunks of tulip trees (Liriodendron tulipifera) in deciduous forest in the Patapsco Valley State Park in Maryland. Tulip trees are native to eastern North America and are one of the largest native trees in that region. They can reach a height of 190ft / 60m and have a trunk up to 10ft / 3m in diameter. There are 2 species in the genus, the other is found in China.
